HFT Pipestoppers Steel Test Plugs are the perfect solution for low-pressure testing and plugging pipes, pipelines, and orifices ranging from 2 to 48 (50 to 1200 mm) in diameter. These durable steel plugs are designed for heavy-duty applications involving long immersion in water, higher temperatures, or contact with acidic or alkaline environments. They outperform nylon, aluminium, and inflatable plugs in such conditions. Choose from a variety of seal options, including natural rubber, silicone, nitrile, neoprene, and Viton, to suit your specific needs. We offer single plugs and double versions for enhanced sealing capacity and stability within pipes. Our HFT Pipestoppers Steel Test Plugs and Stoppers are available in standard sizes for immediate delivery, conforming to Quality Standards BS8005 and BS EN752-4 for low-pressure testing and pipe sealing. HFT Pipestoppers Steel Test Plugs can be used effectively as a permanent stopper. The wings can be cropped to prevent tampering if necessary. The natural rubber rings can be used up to 80?C (176?F) in continuous use. For higher temperatures, we manufacture rings made from silicone that can be used up to 300?C (572?F) and viton, which can be used up to 350?C (662?F) . Plugs can be braced to assist in greater stability. Contact Huntingdon Fusion Techniques HFT for details. Note: For effective sealing, internal surfaces of cavities must be clean and dry. Some smooth surfaces may not be effective and may need to be roughened. Pressure ratings may be affected by poor, slippery or dirty surfaces.
