5/8 FEMALE BRASS TAP CONNECTOR Do you have an old garden tap? Are the fittings available from your DIY superstore or garden centre not fitting correctly? This is because the most common size on modern outside taps is 3/4BSP (or 1BSP on larger wall mounted taps) but if your tap could be 40 or 50 years old it could be based on a smaller 5/8BSP thread.
